Jan 10, 2018 MS word freeze can't force quit. Open MS files (mostly Word, sometimes Excel) are freezing (spinning wheel), sometimes a couple of times a day. It has been doing it a little for a few months and more often in the past 2 weeks. I wait for the wheel to stop, but the file stays frozen. I try to force quit MS Word and it looks like it worked. Mar 19, 2020 Do the Following: Hold down the Option Key and the Command key at same time. The press the esc (cape) key. A Window pops up. Highlight Word, Excel, Power Point, whatever you want to force quit. Click the Force Quit. If the problem still occurs, quit Word, and restore the file to its original location. Then, go to the next step. If the problem seems to be resolved, you can move the com.microsoft.Word.plist file to the trash. Qit all Microsoft Office for Mac programs. On the Go menu, click Home. Open Library. Mac can't force quit microsoft word.

iCloud Security
By default, Outlook for Mac doesn't automatically download pictures or photos in email messages if the images are stored on the Internet. This practice helps to protect your privacy because downloading an Internet picture can alert the sender that your email address is active and that you received the message. However, you can turn off this preference or choose to download Internet pictures only from your saved contacts.
Note: This procedure doesn't affect attached pictures or pictures that are embedded in the body of a message.
